We got engaged here! Lewis Ginter is more than 50 acres of gardens, dining, and shopping. A classical domed Conservatory is the only one of its kind in the mid-Atlantic. More than a dozen themed gardens include a Children’s Garden, Rose Garden, Asian Valley and Cherry Tree Walk.
Carytown
If you have time to kill and want to shop local, visit Carytown! This is a beloved hotspot for both locals and tourists alike- it features over 230 charming shops, chic eateries, lively street performances, and more. Danielle's favorite boutiques are Monkee's, Zest, Traveling Chic Boutique, BitterSweet and Fabrik! Sebastian and Danielle would recommend eating at East Coast Provisions (get the mussels!) or Mellow Mushroom.
