Gina & Jimmy originally met through a mutual friend's get together on a sporadic evening in May. After an entire summer of not seeing each other again, they sparked a conversation on Snapchat where they found out they were both invited to a haunted house (that Gina didn't want to go to), but was convinced by Jimmy to go for his birthday. They spoke everyday from that first conversation and slowly but surely fell in love with each other's goofy personalities.

Almost completely unintentionally 5 years after the day they met, and the day after Gina's graduation, Jimmy brought Gina for a nice date out to Pirate's Cove in Port Jefferson, NY. (For those who don't know, Pirate's Cove is a remote beach on the north end of Port Jeff.) This place holds a lot of significance to the two because it was the place they revived their relationship after a few month break up. After some time of reminiscing on the past, Jimmy got down on one knee and popped the question. Obviously, the answer was yes!
