Our Story (Adam's POV)

Who knew it would start with "hey"

Brianna and I went to high school together and grew up 8 minutes apart for 13 years. With that being said, we did not start talking to each other till the end of our freshman year of college. Strongsville High School was big enough that you could go 4 years and still not meet every person. I would say that we both knew of the other person existed but life never aligned itself for the two of us to talk. Skipping to early April of 2021, I was on my way back from a Spring Break trip and I was just scrolling through Facebook. She had just updated her profile picture and it caught my attention. For some reason, I chose to go to Snapchat to message her and I just went ahead and texted her "Hey". Why she answered I have no clue, but luckily she did because the last 2.5 years have been the best years of my life. Together we have grown closer in our relationships with family as well as our relationship with God. Brianna is there for me every single moment of my life and is my biggest cheerleader by far. I could not have asked for a better person to spend the rest of my life with. I always heard that God sends the right person in your life when you need it the most. At that moment when she answered me with a "Hey" back, I would have never thought it would turn into what I have now. A best friend for life and the best wife that I could ever ask for.

Our Story (Brianna's POV)

Biggest Cheerleader and Best Friend

Adam and I both grew up in the same city and both went to Strongsville High School . Strongsville was big enough that we could go all 4 years and never meet. I would say I knew of him because, after all, he was a twin so that gave way to some popularity. Fast forward to April 2021, and I was updating my social media profile pictures so that I could get a fourth roommate for sophomore year! Not too long after I get a random Snapchat text from Adam. I didn’t really know why he reached out or what caused me to respond, but I am so thankful I did. The conversations came really easily and it felt like I was talking to someone I had known for ages. During that time, I was stressed working on the portfolio that would determine if I got accepted into the Ohio State Visual Communication Design major, and at the time Adam was attending Kent State. Adam quickly became my biggest cheerleader by sending encouraging messages and a small “pick me up” package with all of my favorite candies and treats. He drove for 2 hours and visited me twice before the end of that semester. I could tell that he was all in and had the biggest heart. I guess God’s timing is always right because the past 2.5 years have been the best years of my life. Adam has still been my biggest cheerleader and continues to make me laugh every day. Together we’ve grown closer in our relationships with God and those around us, traveled to so many cool places, and created so many amazing memories. I am so excited for this new adventure and I can’t wait to continue to grow up together and spend the rest of my life with my best friend.
