Ayanna and Darryl have literally been minutes away from each other since 1990 when they both attended Martin Luther King Jr. elementary. Darryl started working as a graphic designer for Big Ideas Inc. in 2008 where Ayanna was head of marketing. April 16th, 2008 Darryl at 6'5" was comfortably sitting in a rolling chair, at Big Ideas Inc. legs stretched parallel to another desk, when Ms. Fiesty BOSS entered the room looked at Darryls' legs, and said, "move". Darryl being the gentleman he is looked the woman up and down (brown mid-thigh dress, Bebe brown satin shoes, long hair pulled back) and in his sexiest voice replied: "it's excuse me, lady". Needless to say, Darryl did pull his feet back for Ayanna after she gave him the look of death, and the two began working with one another on and off over the next four years. Darryl took direction from Ayanna and together created stunning pieces of work that little did they know would become a common interest and money maker in the advertising game; the verbiage and graphic design marketing ultimate duo. Not only did they realize their talents and drive worked well together, but they also realized while growing up in Buffalo, New York in the late 90's that they literally had been in the same Cities partying, same schools, same track competitions, hell even the same playgrounds, but always waved, gave a head nod and kept it moving. Finally, Christmas of 2020 Darryl decided to speak up and ask his bestie to try something more than marketing, making money, and friendship... she eventually said YES, hence why we made this page 😁. So as we celebrate our union, know that YOU are part of so much more than two lives coming together. You are part of fate, faith, and friendship, you are part of Ayanna and Darryl's Love story.
