Question

Is the sealing and reception the same thing?

Answer

Nope! So the sealing/ceremony will take place in the morning at Provo City Center Temple in Provo while the reception will be in the evening at Le Jardin 40 minutes away in Sandy. Yes that sentence was weird.

Am I invited to the sealing?

Answer

Those people invited to the sealing should have received an additional card in the mail. Only those with temple recommend will be able to go inside the temple and observe the ceremony. Exceptions: Unless we talked to you personally, this temple event is only reserved for close family and friends.

What do I do when I'm waiting outside the temple for the sealing to be done?

Answer

Walk around, chill, take pictures on temple grounds, grab a treat at center street. The sealing won't take long, probably an hour max. :)

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is like a Filipino Formal attire. If you have a barong or a filipina formal dress wear it! If not then we'd love to see you in a formal attire. The color scheme of the BIG DAY is Mint and Navy Blue if you want to coordinate with us. :)

Will parking be available?

Answer

YES! Provo Temple: There is an above and underground parking on the South side of the temple. Le Jardin: Plenty of parking at the venue.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Of course! We don't want you to be all by your lonesome. Bring someone that can keep you company and have fun while you're here!

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes/no? The reception will be a flowing reception so you can come and leave whenever because there are no assigned seating. :)

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

DUH! It's a filipino party so of course!! Be prepared and come hungry...ish?

May I take pictures or videos of the ceremony?

Answer

Inside the temple is very sacred and holy so picture taking or video is not allowed. Besides that feel free to use up your memory on our wedding day! Don't forget to use the #hyrumandgail5ever so we can find it easily on social media! :)
