Gage and I always knew of each other in Highschool, but started hanging out senior year. We hung out all the time with the same friend group and I fell in love with his family. A little time passes and it’s freshman year of college. Gage is in Kentucky and I’m in Birmingham. We hangout when he hosts a party at his house for break, from that point forward we started talking more. (Pre saved) LOL. We started dating at the end of 2019. Our first year and a half together was full of crazy stories. Fast forward to 2022 we both quit sports and started going to church together in the summer. We both started serving in the church and gave our lives to the Lord! Best decision we ever made! Our next year of dating from January 2022 to April 2023 was full of laughter and true love! We realized how amazing God is and how amazing our lives can be when we walk in friendship with him. By this point we are so happy I’m counting down the minutes until we get engaged. Everyone at church is rooting for us, my family, and his! I am consistently asking him because I knew it would be in this season and I accidentally guessed it! He was originally going to propose during our graduation photos but had to change the entire proposal but told me that if I showed up to pictures expecting a ring I would be disappointed. He then rearranges his plan and on April 30th Gage proposes to me at Community Night. Matt calls him on stage and I think he is being honored for serving, it turns out he is giving a speech about serving me as his bride! I turned around and at the back of the room was my entire family, in that moment I knew I was going to get to say yes to being his wife for the rest of my days. It was the most memorable event and I was completely shocked! I’m so excited to be his wife and we are so excited to see what God has in store for us in this new season of life! We cannot wait to be married!!
