We're Getting Married

We met at a graduation reunion, we didn't talk much that day but we exchanged social media. We reunited again at a wedding, and that's when Peter came up to me and asked me to dance. We had lots of fun and laughs that night, our friendship started as if we had known each other for years! Peter's fun quote when he saw me again was " Esta chaparrita hermosa sabe bailar de aqui soy".

This special day was a series of different events, side Story it is extremely difficult to get my brother to go out on last-minute trips it all has to be planned with him. But for this day it was an exception due to several planning Peter had done. The goal for this day was to surprise me due to I was expecting a proposal soon. The series of events started with a hike with the family and close friends at Multnomah Falls in Oregon. When we arrived I was amazed at the waterfalls I really thought he was going to propose there! But no.. we then left for the next destination, and we landed at a Dam where we saw lots of fishies had an amazing time seeing my nephews enjoy themselves feeding the trouts really made my day. The next destination was a sushi Burrito stop cause why not I love sushi! At that time I wasn't expecting a proposal due to the day was already getting to an end. We started heading our way back, I was a little suspicious about why my best friend who lives in Oregon drove back with us a couple more miles. I didn't think much about it because I passed out on the road lol. The drive was about 45 more minutes away from the sushi place and landed at a viewpoint with a beautiful view, we got off and started walking on the trail. In the distance, I glanced at a random sunflower that was on the side of the field. That was the only blooming flower in the whole view. In my head knowing Peter I knew he was going to grab it for me. We continued the hike and while my friends were recording and taking pictures I was busy taking care of my niece making sure she didn't fall. I was holding her very tightly trying not to let go, Peter then slightly told me to let her go, and finally, my brother came to get her. That's when Peter told me I LOVE YOU, he came down on one knee with the sunflower I had my eye on since we arrived in his hand. Side note he custom-made it by hand which made it more special. My love then opened the top of the flower and there was the ring. He told me "Would you Marry me?" and with no hesitation I said "YESS MI GORDITO BELLO" He then placed the ring on my hand I was amazed at how beautiful it was. I couldn't stop smiling, cheesing it as an amazing day with amazing friends and family.
