Pre-Booking Taxi for Travel from the Wedding Reception Back to Your Accomodation

Answer

To our visiting family and friends: You will need to pre-book a taxi to take you from the wedding reception back to your accommodations at the end of the evening. You can do so via: hitch.bm; ridebermuda.com; islandgo.app; ride.bm; or by calling (441) 295-4141. If you do NOT pre-arrange a taxi for after the wedding, you will find it difficult to find one available. If you need help doing this, please reach out to us!

What will the weather in Bermuda be like in November?

Answer

With its pleasant year-round climate, Bermuda is a heavenly destination regardless of the month you’re here. Towards the end of November, you can expect temperatures between 73℉ and 75℉ with water temperature around 68℉.

Which airlines fly to Bermuda?

Answer

Bermuda is serviced by Air Canada, American Airlines, British Airways, Delta, JetBlue, and BermudAir. You fly to Bermuda directly from Toronto, Philadelphia, New York (JFK), Miami, Charlotte, Washington DC, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Westchester (New York), Baltimore, Orlando, Halifax, London, Atlanta, and Newark. By air, Bermuda is just 90 minutes from New York and two or three hours from major US East Coast cities like Atlanta, Boston, Miami and Philadelphia. From London, it's about a 7-hour flight. Will the ceremony/reception be outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors, but we do have indoor locations arranged in case of bad weather.

What’s the best way to get around the island?

Answer

Once you arrive, getting around the island is easy, safe, and pretty fun, too. Options include renting an electric car, taxis & private operators, buses and ferries. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m. Please arrive no later than 2:45 p.m.

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

You are welcome to arrive at Mid-Ocean Club as early as 4:00 p.m. There will be cocktails and hors d'oeuvres waiting for you.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes. For the ceremony, you are welcome to park along Church Folly Lane. For the reception, there is ample parking at the Mid-Ocean Clubhouse and Beach Pavilion.

Will there be transportation provided to and from the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

We have a shuttle bus that will take Grotto Bay guests from the hotel to the ceremony location and then onto the reception location. If you are not staying at Grotto Bay, you will have to arrange to your transportation. You can book a taxi at www.ridebermuda.com or download the Hitch app (www.hitch.bm)

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras) as we want our family and friends to be present with us as we say "I do". We have hired a professional photographer to capture this special moment for us, so please allow her to do her best work. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you like.

Will there be vegan or gluten free dinner options?

Answer

Yes! There will be a buffet-style dinner with lots of vegan and gluten-free items.
