Shuttle

Wedding Day Shuttle from Downtown Buena Vista

September 27, 2025 3:00 pm - 11:45 pm

We want everyone to enjoy themselves without the worries of safely driving back from the reception. With no taxis or ride share we've hired a transportation service to get people to and from the Barn. Pickup location(s) will be decided at later date but will revolve around downtown Buena Vista along Main Street. We hope to make stops convenient for everyone so please let us know where you will be staying when you book your stay. There is ample parking at the venue if you chose to not take the shuttle.

Where to Stay

There are limited hotels in Buena Vista and numerous weddings in the area scheduled for the same weekend. Late September is a very popular time to be in Buena Vista so we highly recommend getting a hotel or AirBnb or VRBO close to downtown as soon as possible.

Travel Note

Local Transportation

A rental car will be essential in getting to and around Buena Vista. There are no taxi services and rideshare services in the area.

Flight

Denver International Airport

DIA is the recommended airport to fly into. There are limited flights to Eagle County Regional Airport and Central Colorado Regional Airport but car rentals will be extremely limited.

Travel Note

High Elevation Notice

Buena Vista is 8,000 ft above sea level, which can lead to someone getting altitude sickness. While it is a lower elevation than ski towns such as Breckenridge or Dillon, we still recommend you consider spending time in Boulder or Denver before driving to Buena Vista if you have not spent time at higher elevations. There are many ways to avoid or alleviate altitude sickness but acclimating over time is the most effective solution.
