We met at a time in both of our lives when we were all about the party. Lol. Strangely enough, since Brian is from Leonardtown in St. Mary's County, we both happened to be at The Greene Turtle in La Plata, which is in Charles County, on a random Wednesday night with our separate group of friends. We were eyeing each other up the entire night, and after a few drinks, Brian's friend convinced him to buy me a drink and come talk to me, so he did and we haven't stopped dreaming about each other since. A typical bar story, but to us, it's everything!
On February 1, 2020, Brian and I went on a date to the Lighthouse Restaurant on Solomon's Island, one of my most favorite places ever! I had a feeling he was going to pop the big question there, so when he didn't, admittedly, I was a little disappointed. To my complete surprise, when we arrived home from dinner, all of our closest friends and family were in our driveway surrounded by beautiful rose petals and lit candles. Each person was holding a rose that they handed to me as we made our way towards the house where he got down on one knee and my best friend asked me to be his wife! It was the most beautiful night ever!
We're so excited to declare our love for one another and exchange vows at the beautiful Robin Hill Farm & Vineyard in Prince George's County, MD. Our venue is right up our alley, as Brian grew up farming and growing all sorts of things from tobacco to pumpkins! And I loooove wine! (LOL) We love this gem in Southern MD which is where we are both from! We can't wait for our new story to begin there!
