Things To Do
Beach Trail
San Clemente is the perfect beach town! One of our favorite things to do is grab a coffee at the Bear Coast and walk on the beach trial! You can hop on the trial at the San Clemente Pier or the Metrolink station. To get to the station from Interstate 5, take Exit 76 and head west on East Avenida Pico. Follow it for about 0.5 miles to the intersection of North El Camino Real. Take a right and the train station will be on your left. This is right by our venue so feel free to go there too and follow the signs to the entrance!
Shopping, Food & Fun
This is Makenzie’s favorite street in San Clemente! It has tons of small businesses and food options, you can’t go wrong. You can grab a sandwich from Billys, an açaí bowl from Banzai Bowl or a burrito from El Ranchito and walk all the way down to the pier for a little picnic on the beach. Feel free to check out the local stores and be sure to pop in The Beach Company SC (Makenzie’s cousin owns the shop)!
San Clemente Pier
The pier is open year round and there is parking right above from it! Fisherman’s Restaurant is at the beginning of the pier and perfect for a cocktail at sunset.
San Clemente Trolley
The San Clemente Trolley runs on Saturday and Sunday during this time of year! The trolleys are free to ride and take you to the top spots in San Clemente. See the website for the schedule!
Dana Point Harbor
The harbor is perfect for any water activities you want to try! Weather in CA is usually pretty ideal this time of year so feel free to head to the harbor for all your rental needs. We are big fans of paddle boarding, jet skiing and even grabbing a board for a surf sesh. Catch some gnarly(but beginner friendly) waves at the nearby beach, Doheny!
Laguna Beach
Downtown Laguna is the epitome of Southern California charm, lots of shopping and fun places to grab a bite to eat! About a 15-20 minute drive from San Clemente!
