Our love story began in the Fall of 2012, tailgate season at Texas A&M University in Kingsville (TAMUK). Although, Gaby never attended the university; her bestie Alma did. Alma invited the girls from the RGV up to TAMUK for a fun weekend, as they never experience a college homecoming football game. Upon arrival, Alma took Gaby and her friends to a party that Friday night to get a taste of what was to come for the weekend. Eli's Fraternity (PHIOTAS) was having a house party. As the night went on, Eli described a magnetic attraction to Gaby. There was clearly a connection that came to form later down the road. The weekend ended with a number exchange and great memories. However, God had other plans. Our lives were going on two different paths. Fast forward to 2014, Eli and Gaby reconnected thanks to Alma (once again) on a beach getaway. This time, Eli knew he could not pass up the opportunity to get to know Gaby on a deeper level. Eli and Gaby began officially dating that December of 2014. Together they have traveled to beautiful beaches, made wonderful memories, advanced academically and professionally, built a home, and even started a family with pets (Charles, Lucero, and Catrin). FINALLY, Eli asked Gaby for her hand in marriage. With our families and friends, we have both the support to never ending happiness.
