It is going to be warm, the temperature in April is usually between 23-30 °C ("feels like" is higher). Don't forget light clothes and sunscreen. The probability of rain is low, fingers crossed.

Las Villas Akumal
We offer accommodation in Akumal for two nights (24th-26th April). In case you're attending the after party in Cancun, you might want to stay the night of the 26th still in Akumal, explore another nearby town or go directly to Cancun. Puerto Aventuras, Playa del Carmen and Puerto Morelos are on the way between Akumal and Cancun; Tulum is 30 mins from Akumal in the other direction.
Flight
Aeropuerto Internacional de Cancún
The closest and most convenient airport is Cancún (CUN), there are direct flights from many cities in Europe. It is located 25mins from the Hotel Zone and the city center. Also, 1 hour from Playa del Carmen and 1,5 hours from Akumal. The cheapest way to leave the airport is with ADO bus, the ticket costs $120 pesos (about 6 euro) to the bus station in the city center.
Train
Autobuses ADO
(Not really a train) If you don't plan on renting a car, you can move around easily and comfortably by bus. The bus company is called ADO, they serve most of the towns in Riviera Maya and Yucatán. NOTE: Mayab buses travel from Cancun to Akumal every 1 - 1,5 hours (this is the second class line). Tickets aren't available online, they must be bought directly at the bus station on the day of travel, it costs $85 pesos (about 4,5 euro).
