Lexie and Gaberial met on a chilly Midwestern night. It is obvious that their love story was drawn up long before that night. Gabe was in Iowa to visit family, an annual trip that he was hesitant to go on due to the construction of his new home. Gabe made his way to a local Irish Pub, on Taylor Swift night of all nights. Neither Gabe nor Lexie are Swifties (ok maybe a little) and guess they owe her a shoutout here. Lexie was in her small hometown of Newton, where she would barely ever hit the town. She even marked her calendar to not go out on that day. Albeit this, Lexie and Gabe both ended up at Murph & Mary’s. Gabe spotted Lexie across the room. Gabe asked Lexie to play the punching bag machine. Lexie initially declined by saying, “No, handsome.” He eventually convinced her to hit the punching bag with him. The following weekend, the two were together for a visit in Florida. Long distance was not so distant for them between Florida and Iowa early on in their relationship. Thank God for Allegiant - Lexie and Gaberial never went more than 10 days without seeing each other.
