Is there a dress code?

Answer

We're hoping that this weekend will feel like we're all getting away together for a couple days. With that in mind, we're calling our dress code lakeside chic. Think your fanciest dinner out on vacation - wear something that's summery, stylish and fun! We're encouraging breezy dresses, linen suits, and fun textures, colors, and patterns. Sport coats and loafers are cute, but ties are definitely optional! There is a lot of grass on the property, so while you're welcome to wear heels we advise against stilettos or anything that might make walking on grass a challenge.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to capacity limits at the venue we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony and ask that you refrain from taking photos during it! We have an incredible photographer who we know will capture the ceremony beautifully. Please take as many photos and videos as you would like during the cocktail hour and reception! We have also created a shared wedding Google Drive where you can share all of your photos with us. Look out for the QR codes during the reception to scan and share! We will be sharing our professional photos with guests and loved ones once they are available.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 2:30 PM. Give yourself time to make it down to the water, grab a drink and find your seat!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be very limited parking available at the venue. We are working on obtaining overflow parking across the street, so please check back here for updates! If you are not staying with us at the venue, please plan to either Uber or make use of our complimentary shuttle, leaving from and returning to the Surfside On The Lake Hotel the afternoon of the ceremony. If there is a mobility issue you need assistance with, please let us know!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know your dietary restrictions while RSVPing. We will share these with our caterers and they will make sure that you have plenty of options!
