Hotel
The San Diego Marriott Del Mar is a newly-renovated 4-star hotel less than 15 minutes from our wedding venue. Our travel agent/miracle worker friend Max Jones negotiated a stellar rate starting at $139/night (+ taxes) for wedding guests, more than $100/night off of the public rate. There will be limited complimentary shuttle availability for wedding guests to/from the venue. Double Queen and King Rooms are available. To book, please email Max at mjones@changetrips.com with your name and preferred dates.
Hotel
The Lodge at Torrey Pines is a unique, world-renowned 5-star resort overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Torrey Pines Golf Course. It's also very close to the Torrey Pines Reserve, where we officially got engaged :) We've negotiated a package for $399/night (+ taxes) including breakfast for two, a room upgrade pending availability, and early check-in/late check-out - a savings of more than $100 off of the public rate. We only have 9 rooms held at this property, so book soon if interested. To book, please email Max Jones at mjones@changetrips.com with your name and preferred dates.
Flight
In addition to being the most convenient flight destination in the area, this airport also has not one but two Einstein Bros. Bagel shops. Lindsay recommends the Pretzel Bagel, a godly invention that combines her two favorite foods.
Rental Car
For out-of-towners flying into San Diego, the airport rental car center offers plenty of convenient and affordable options.
Train
For Californians looking to ditch their cars for the weekend, the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train offers beautiful views of the coastline.
