We met when we worked together at Eddie V’s in Troy. I (Nicole) noticed him on my first day of work. He then disappeared for weeks and I wondered if he quit. I tried to look ahead on the schedule to see if he still works there but I didn’t even know his name at the time. ( Only slightly creepy, lol) It turned out that he went on vacation and immediately got covid after. Only a couple shifts after he returned to work he asked me if I wanted to come out for drinks with some people from work after our shift that night. I said yes, and when I got there he saved me a seat right next to him and I thought it was adorable. He mentioned his Coopers Hawk membership and asked if I liked wine and would like to do a wine tasting with him soon. Easy yes on my end. He had just gotten out of a relationship and wanted to take things slow so we only hung out every day, mosts nights, and at work. He officially asked me out 3 months later and asked me to marry him a year and a half after that. When ya know, ya know.
