We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We met in high school and remained close friends, even while dating other people. We always knew we'd end up together, it was just about timing. Senior year came and we became closer than ever- even while taking two different people to prom. It wasn't until our senior trip that Andrew told me he loved me, and we started our journey. We started dating July of 2016 and have been inseparable ever since. Every day since, I've thanked God that I get to marry not only the love of my life but my best friend as well.

It was the day before Valentine's Day, and we were at his parents house. Everyone was there but Andrew wanted to do something for the holiday. I didn't want to leave because his cousin Katie was over and she lives so far, we barely get to see her! She practically pushed us out the door, telling me she'd be there when we came back from our date. We grabbed a couple hoagies for a simple date at the park. After 5 years of dating, this was not a surprise to me, we liked to keep it simple. Parvin State Park was always very sentimental to Andrew. It's were he took camping trips as a child and he always had happy memories there. It was snowy/muddy outside and Andrew didn't think he'd be able to get me out of the car. After some persuasion, we walked along a trail and looked out at the lake where I noticed half of it was frozen. I turned around to make sure he was looking too, when he was down on one knee asking to be with me for the rest of his life. After some ugly crying, I said yes! I was so excited, we went right home to show everyone. Little did I know, everyone knew already! They threw us a party and we popped some champagne. I will remember that day forever.
