Your RSVP and reservation for the wedding are due no later than March 1st, 2023. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prepare for our destination wedding.
Our ceremony and reception will both be outdoors at the Audubon House & Tropical Gardens. High temperatures typically run in the 80s with lows in the 70s in Key West in May. That being said, we recommend breezy dresses, suits in lighter hues and lighter weight fabrics.
Yes! Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any food allergies or special requests.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you due to the size constraints of the venue!
Since the island is so small, there are few options for parking. Most places on the island are within walking distance, so we suggest leaving your car at your place of stay if you have a rental car. We recommend a quick Google map search when choosing a place to stay to see the walking distance from Duval St./Old Town! There are also free shuttles that make stops around Old Town (downtown).
There are 3 options for getting to Key West: 1. Fly straight in to Key West International Airport through various airlines. 2. Fly into Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, rent a car, and drive to Key West (about 3.5 hours). This is a great option for those who have never experienced this before, as you drive through 44 different islands, with great sightseeing opportunities and activities, including the famous 7-mile bridge! 3. Fly into Ft. Myers and take the Key West Express (3.5-hour boat ride) (not recommended for those who get seasick)
Key West has so many options in many different price ranges. We recommend staying close to Duval Street, as that's where most of the action takes place, however, the majority of accommodations are a short walk or bike ride away. Check the Travel tab for recommended locations from our Wedding Planner.
Since this is a destination wedding, we understand if you want to bring your kiddos for a family vacation! However, while we love your kids, they will not be permitted at the ceremony or reception, and you will need to find other accommodations for them during these times. We appreciate your understanding!
