We originally met both working at Traditions Golf Club, in College Station, Texas. Shelby worked in the pro shop and James worked on the cart staff, but that is not where our story begins. Fast forward a few years and Shelby was completely obsessed with her fur baby, Dove, and naturally wanted to have professional photos taken of her for her 2nd birthday. Shelby messaged James on instagram, remembering he had recently been posting his photography that was impressive, but mostly of cars and not animals at all. The message said "have you ever done dog photo shoots?" (with three thinking emojis). He responded almost immediately that he hadn't, but was excited for the opportunity. He proceeded to send fun murals/walls that would serve as great backdrops. We had the photoshoot that next weekend and drove all around Houston. The photos turned out to be iconic and the rest is history! Thank goodness for Dove and a DM.
