Costco is a great place to buy milk and eggs in bulk, but it also worked out as a great match maker for Brooks and Erin. Brooks was a supervisor when he met Erin back in 2016 after she started working as a front-end assistant. Over the next three years, they became friends, but there was more than a friendship and in May 2019, they decided to make it official.

As long as it took Brooks and Erin to start dating after they met, they fell in love pretty quickly from there. A couple of months after he asked her to be his girlfriend, Brooks told Erin "I'm really close to saying the L word!" which still makes Erin laugh to this day. The next day, they went to a concert at Red Rocks where she shouted in his ear in the middle of a song that she loved him. The next couple of years became a blur of camping trips, baseball games, trivia nights with friends, and endless laughs and smiles. Brooks even became a damn good skier in order to keep up with Erin, and now shares the passion of skiing with her.

Back in early fall 2021, Erin saw that Makenzie (their now photographer!) was doing some hour-long discounted photo shoots. She decided to sign her and Brooks up for a slot because they'd never had any nice photos done together. Little did she know, Brooks was being sneaky and had bought a ring, told Makenzie his plan, and gave the ring to Makenzie the day before the photo shoot. About 20 minutes into the photo shoot, Erin turned around to see Brooks on one knee with the most gorgeous ring. He hadn't even finished asking his question when she blurted out "Okay!!", eventually letting him finish and saying a real "Yes".
