She loves social gatherings and event planning, which makes her a true social butterfly. Shanika is very outgoing and is far from shy. She makes friends everywhere she goes. She has a smile that lights up any room with a personality to match. Given Frisco's busy schedule, Shanika is always the one that keeps everything in order, along with her commitment to be his peace and support. The "Ying to his Yang". She is truly his better half.

Frisco is a very devoted and loving father with a strong faith in God which is the foundation for his life and his family. He is a retired professional basketball player that now works as a Athletic Director at Jubilee Family Center, as well as a head college basketball coach, and operates Next Level Basketball training for athletes. Frisco has a heart of gold and loves to give back to the community. He has a passion to mentor children and strives to be a upstanding leader in the community. Frisco is the most kindhearted and giving person you could ever meet, and would go above and beyond for anyone, especially his family and those he love. With similar values and strong faith in God, Shanika and Frisco were truly meant to be.

The bride's big sister and Maid of Honor. Don't let the hard shell fool you, Kamika is the coolest and most down to earth woman. Once she let's her guard down, she becomes a real jokester and has more come back lines than anyone we know. She is definitely her sister's keeper and will go to war for her baby sister Shanika. So it was a no brainer that she would be a part of our special day.

Raven is the bride's closest friend. She definitely has many titles and roles in the lives of both the bride and groom. From friend, to counselor, voice of reasoning, the bride's right hand "WOMAN". Raven is the person who is truly the life of the party. She is one that's always the first on the dancefloor to get the party started. Not to mention, she can sing any Dolly Parton tune like no other. Some call her "Ray" but she is definitely our "Ray of sunshine"

TJ is the flyest and most stylish guy you will ever meet. He has the confidence to be his own person and make his own path. He is not afraid to stand out in a crowd. He is a sports fanatic and can reference any sports record and stats. With the love of numbers and stats, it has been the bond between him and Frisco. TJ is so humble and smooth that he has truly lived up to the nickname he has called himself "The Heartbreak kid"

Alajah is the grooms oldest daughter. At first, she seems shy and quiet but once you get to know her you will find that she really outgoing and funny. She is a very sweet and kindhearted young lady. Alajah has a big heart like her father. She is a natural leader and has a very bright future ahead of her.

The brides oldest son. Although as a young mother, it seems as though Shanika and Taion grew up together, Taion has went from a young boy playing sports to a hard working and driven young man. A touching moment between the Taion and Shanika happened on the night Frisco proposed. Taion pulled Shanika to the side and said "I have been the man of the house for a long time while you were raising us alone, but now it's time for me to let you go, Frisco is a good man, he is your protector now." His blessing meant the world to Shanika as well as Frisco.

Erica is the childhood friend and God sister of the bride. Erica and Shanika have went from playing Barbie's together into grown women who share a passion of motherhood and family. Erica's mother, who sadly passed away, was the best friend of the bride's mother, and from the connection of their mothers, the two women have been inseparable ever since. Erica's strength has been something the Shanika has always admired. Erica is a true "stick by your side" kind of friend/sister.

Sister of the groom. Stacey is a very sweet and caring person. She truly has a heart of gold. Nothing can break her spirit, she is very nurturing and loving. Her and Frisco are very close, which makes her being a part of our day even more special.

The grooms younger cousin. Marcus is the most kind hearted, giving, and intelligent young man who (according to him) swears that he is a better basketball player than Frisco. If you ever see the two compete on the court, you would see the heart and perseverance of both men. Marcus really looks up to Frisco, and he even attends Frisco’s alma mater Delaware State University. With the bond that the cousins have, the couple is so grateful to have Marcus a part of our big day!

Robin and the bride met while their sons were playing little league football together. The love for the sports and the connection of being supportive moms has sparked a lifelong friendship between not only the moms, but all their children as well. Robin is the sweetest person you could ever meet. We’re has a beautiful sole and always having words of encouragement through tough times. She is the friend you can laugh with, cry with, and pray with. She is truly my best friend. But, don't let the sweet face fool you. If Robin is around, a good time and good trouble is to follow!

Shanika and Marjorie worked their first jobs together, raised their children together, and has been great friends through the years. Marjorie is definitely like family to the couple and their children are just as close. She is the go to person for great advice. She listens to Shanika's crazy business ideas, brings the calmness when things get crazy, and Marjorie will always give you the honest truth. Loyalty at it's fineness. We love you "shorty"!

Bobby... oh Bobby! Everyone loves having Bobby around. He is one of a kind. Although not biologically related, Bobby came into Frisco's life as a teenager as a caring neighbor, and has formed a lifetime bond. He always boast about the fact that "he was the one who taught Frisco how to play basketball." But most importantly he has taught Frisco and his siblings many things about life. His favorite line is "I haven't got this old by being stupid" which he even tells our children while showing them the way. Bobby may be a jokester with all his crazy tales, but he has taught us so many life lessons and has become a part of our family.

Taylor AKA "Flower child" is a very calm and spiritual person. The bride and her met through work and instantly were friends. Shanika was honored to be a bridesmaid in her wedding and share in her special day. It has been a great to watch Taylor grow into a great woman and mother, and we are so happy that she is a part of our special day.
