Before February 1st, please!
Before 5:15pm--the ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm. The Stone Tower Tasting Room is open to the public until 5:00pm, and you are welcome to come early and check it out before the ceremony.
Most certainly! Bring your young chilluns or take a night off--either way works for us!
Yes, there's plenty of parking. Alternatively, Stone Tower is a ~10 min drive from Leesburg, so we might recommend grabbing an Uber instead. Also, following the reception, a shuttle bus will be provided from Stone Tower Winery back to the Homewood Suites in Leesburg.
Great question. Weather in Virginia in March can be extremely variable. It might be 70 degrees and sunny, or 30 degrees and freezing rain. We'll all just have to check the weather the week before and expect the unexpected. BIG NEWS! Punxsutawney Phil, the most reliable of America's sciuridaen meteorologists, has determined that we will have an early spring. What that means for March 14th? Who knows! Inside! We're holding the ceremony in the winery's tank room. If the weather's nice we can play outside during the cocktail hour and reception, though.
"Pi Day" is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. Pi Day is an annual opportunity to embrace our inner nerd and eat some pie.
