Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue early to find parking and make your way to our ceremony spot. We will be getting married along the Wisconsin River (weather permitting).

Is there transportation?

Answer

We will have rides FROM the venue BACK to the hotels from 9PM-12AM provided by Bar Buddies. There was not enough of a demand for a shuttle service to the ceremony. Please coordinate rides with other hotel guests if you can.

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

The Riverside does have a pretty good sized parking lot. Please keep in mind that it is a public venue and arrive early to find parking. See transportation question for more info about getting to and from the venue if you are staying in the hotels.

What food and beverages will be provided?

Answer

Dinner will be buffet. Menu items include beef pot roast, Alfredo cheese tortellini, garden salad, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, and a dinner roll. Beer, soda, and water will be provided by the couple. All of the other drink choices can be purchased at a cash bar in the reception area and at the main bar.

Are my kids welcome?

We ask you to please respect a decision that was incredibly difficult to make. We love your children and we always wanted to be able to have kids at our wedding! The truth of the matter is that we both come from very large families and we are unable to accommodate everyone's entire family at our wedding. Please understand that there will be a couple of exceptions regarding the wedding party. (Your invite indicated who in your family is invited- please ask if you would like clarification)

Can I bring a date?

Formal invitations indicate if you have a plus one. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to know for sure. Very similar to the children question we had to make some tough decisions. There is no way to make everyone happy and we understand that.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal. We are planning a ceremony on the river (weather permitting) so please dress accordingly. We will send a message out with the weather forecast when we get closer to the day.

Answer

Target, of course!! Search our names on their website or go to the registry tab on this site! We are also registered at Amazon and here on Zola.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP's were due on August 24th. If we have not heard from you since then we are not expecting you. Please let us know ASAP if your plans have changed since there are lots of moving parts that will need to be updated.
