Question

What does Tropic Formal Attire mean?

Answer

Formal evening cocktail attire with an awareness of the outdoor, jungle setting is appropriate. Evening dresses for ladies and suits for men are preferred. Keep in mind that we will be in the Tropics when picking out the fabric of your ensemble, but don't think casual. There will still be plenty of time on other days for lounging by the pool or tiki bar in that sun dress or Hawaiian shirt!

Question

Is there a minimum night stay?

Answer

While we would love it if everyone could take a 3 week sojourn together to really relax and soak all of the setting and celebration in with us, we know that schedules and budgets do not allow for that. Our resort requires a 3 night minimum, and the details can be arranged through the agent linked on our travel page.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love you and we love your kids, and we definitely want to spend time with all of you, but the wedding itself will not be child friendly. Babysitting services will be made available at the hotel so you can let loose and enjoy the night with us, grown-up style! Our Cake & Champagne Reception back home in New Jersey will be family friendly!

Question

How do I get to where we are going?

Answer

Contact Teresa Weir of TravelSmiths on our travel page or contact her at 732-899-8400 for international travel. Our Cake & Champagne Reception will be held at The Mountain Lakes House in Princeton, NJ. Visit our Schedule page for further details.

Question

How many weddings are you having?

Answer

We set out to plan our dream jungle wedding and realized that our full invite list could not be accommodated for such a feat, so our destination portion is reflective of a small, intimate family event. That being said, we still want to celebrate with all the people we love and share our life with! So we are having a Cake & Champagne Reception in New Jersey to celebrate after we return from the honeymoon.
