Bobby and Frank met online through Facebook, of all places. Frank came across this nice-looking man who seemed very interesting and thought "What the heck, I'll friend him". They communicated via Messenger for awhile and then on the phone. Bobby says that he noticed Frank was from Cleveland and knew Chagrin Falls was around there and he always wanted to come for a visit to see the Falls. He figured he'd get a tour of Chagrin Falls and meet a nice man who he might develop a friendship with. In May of 2021, he came for that visit. Frank did not realize when they settled on the exact date that he would be moving. Let's just say that day was chaotic. Frank's five helpers moved him in during a blinding 48 degree rainstorm, including his furniture company delivery, and he was hanging pictures on the walls. One would ask why he was worried about pictures on the walls and decor?? He's a bit of a freak when it comes to that stuff. He wanted to impress Bobby, so he worked the impossible and everything was set up. Bobby showed up and INSTANT ATTRACTION. They had some wine and talked for a bit. Frank's oldest son Dominic and his girlfriend Alex had wanted to come by after Frank and Bobby left, so they could get the boxes. Frank told them to come then, as he had no issue having them meet Bobby on the day. Dominic, Alex and Bobby hit it off so much that Frank had to text Dom and Alex to leave. Bobby was working back in Pittsburgh the next day at 11am and they only had 20 hours together. They eventually made it to Chagrin Falls (picture below) and although cold, the rain stopped. They were able to see the falls in all their glory. Frank could see Bobby was enjoying the view! When they turned back to go back up the steps, Frank asked him if he could give him a kiss and he said yes! They had drinks and a wonderful dinner and went to Frank's favorite spot for a nightcap. The night was magical and both hadn't felt anything like that in a long, long time. The rest is history.
