Flight

Benito Juarez (MEX) International Airport

Benito Juarez (MEX) International Airport is the closest and the airport we would recommend flying into. The airport is a short ~30-40 minutes from the hotels/airbnbs and the vibrant heart of the city! We highly encourage our guests to set up price alerts via "Google Flight Alerts" App to ensure the best flight deal!

Travel Note

Transportation Around Mexico City

While you can rent a car, Ubers are our recommended mode of transportation during your stay. They are frequent, reliable, and cost effective. Mexico City traffic can be BAD so please plan accordingly for arriving on time to events. If driving or renting a car, valet for the ceremony/reception will be available for 100 pesos (~$6 USD). Valet Parking será disponible el día de la boda por un costo de 100 pesos.

Airbnb

Click on the VIEW tab below to see our Airbnb recommendations! We highly recommend looking into Airbnb for its value and unique options. Our favorite neighborhoods are Roma Norte, Condesa, and Polanco because they are all close to tourist attractions. If you want to stay closer to the venue, look near Coyoacán. Condesa: One of Mexico City's trendier areas and is filled with lovely art deco homes, tree-lined streets, leafy parks, and bohemian chic shops, bars & restaurants. Parque Mexico is one of the defining landmarks of the area showing many elements of a European garden, including ponds and walkways. Calle Amsterdam is the most notable street - a large tree-lined oval perfect for morning runs. You will find more expensive, boutique hotels here. Roma Norte: Known for being the epicenter of hipster culture in the city, it rivals Polanco as the center of the city's culinary scene. Besides Art Nouveau and Neo-Classical residential houses and buildings, the neighborhood streets are lined with trees, restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, cultural centers, churches, galleries & parks. Polanco: Mexico City's swankiest neighborhood, famous for designer shops & upscale restaurants-many of which are situated on the fancy Avenida Masaryk. The architecture is a mix between modern buildings & old Spanish-style haciendas - and walking around in Polanco makes you feel like you are in a European city. If you're interested in gourmet cuisine, you will definitely want to make a reservation at famous Michelin-star restaurant, Pujol (call for a reservation at least 1-2 months before). Coyoacán: Neighborhood where the wedding venue is. The venue is ~5 mins from the central plaza. With its cobbled streets and colorful houses, Coyoacán feels like old-time Mexico. From Frida Kahlo’s famed Casa Azul to the vibrant Coyoacán Market to some of the city’s best churros and paletas, the best things to do in Coyoacán include historic sights, cultural activities & lots of great food.
