We highly recommend you book your stay ASAP given the number of local events taking place in Kent Island and the surrounding areas over the weekend. Transportation to/from the wedding venue will be provided from all hotels listed on our Travel page.

Will I be able to travel to the venue via Uber or Lyft?

Answer

We have been advised that it is nearly impossible to secure an Uber or Lyft willing to take riders back to DC in the evening after the event, particularly during holiday weekends. We have reserved a private shuttle to transport guests staying at nearby hotels to and from the event. The shuttle pickup schedule is confirmed below. *3:00pm Hilton Garden Inn pickup *3:20pm Best Western pickup *3:45pm Guests should plan to arrive and take their seats by 3:45pm.

Cocktail attire on Saturday. Casual attire on Friday.

Yes, there is plenty of free, overnight parking available on-site at both the Inn and at Libbey's.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels and the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! Transportation to and from the venue will be provided from the Hilton Garden Inn and the Best Western hotels. Please note - it is close to impossible to secure alternative transportation on the island (i.e. ubers/lyfts) so please be on time for shuttle pickup. The shuttle pickup schedule is confirmed below. *3:00pm Hilton Garden Inn pickup *3:20pm Best Western pickup *3:45pm Guests should plan to arrive and take their seats by 3:45pm. If you miss the shuttle, complimentary overnight parking is available at the Inn.
