Notch brewery in Salem is a great place to go grab a pint and relax! With outdoor space for people and pups alike and beloved local brews you can't go wrong.
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
This museum is easily one of our favs in the city! Scene of the famous art heist in the 1990s this old mansion has been turned into a lovely display of some of the best artwork in the world. In the center of the building there is a lovely 4-season garden with tropical plants that will help you forget that the cold that's come to Boston will stick around for the next 5 months...
New England Aquarium
Spend hours in the aquarium learning all about the local aquatic life or simply stop by the front gate to see the seal enclosure!
Museum of Science
We've been here a number of times over the years and always enjoy the Garden Walk & Insect Zoo (AKA butterfly exhibit)! It will also be a nice way to spend a warm day in chill Boston since it always feels like summer in the Garden Walk.
Charles River Esplanade
One of Francesca's favorite places in the whole of Boston! Walk the banks of the Charles River that separates Boston from Cambridge. Francesca spent many nights dragging her college roommates to this familiar walk at all hours. In our opinion the best view of Boston can be seen from the Longfellow Bridge that crosses the river, which is what made it such a special place to get engaged.
Flight Club Boston
We spent Tiffany's birthday here on year and loved it. A casual atmosphere with food and drinks and all the darts games you can imagine! Make sure to reserve a spot in advance as they usually fill up quickly.
The North End- Italian Neighborhood
This is where we go almost every Valentines Day. Enjoy a stroll around Boston's Italian North End and experience some of the best Italian food and pastries in the city. For dinner one of our favorites is Mare for seafood and Prezza for some pasta. Skip desert at the restaurant and head to Bova's for the best cannoli in Boston. The cobblestone streets can be treacherous in heels so beware!
The Lobster Pool
We recently went here when Aunt Paula and Uncle John came to visit! It's a quiet little fisherman's restaurant located on the Essex Scenic Costal Highway with an excellent lobster roll, clam chowder and other seafood options if those aren't for you.
