Fran and Matt are getting married!

Fran and Matt met in February 2019 thanks to the wonders of online dating. They had lived two miles from each other for about three years, never having crossed paths until they connected on a dating app. Their first date was a mid-morning coffee. Soon after they began dating, Matt shared his plan to attend graduate school in the fall, and as he discerned where to go, the two continued to spend time together. Upon Matt deciding to attend Harvard Business School, they decided to enter into a long-distance relationship...not knowing that a global pandemic was just ahead. As Matt began his time at HBS, Fran began a new job at Georgia Tech. Through the busyness of life and the disruptions brought by Covid, they navigated long-distance dating. Matt graduated from HBS in May 2021 and moved back to Atlanta the following October, right as Fran began a new position with Tech. (Needless to say, they have navigated many changes and transitions in just their first three and a half years together.) They got engaged July 2nd, 2022 in Cape Cod. And on July 16th, they got a cat.
