Maid of Honor
My OG roommate and best friend. Our mom always said, “You have no idea how lucky you are to have a sister.” I could not agree more-although I wish she would stop stealing my clothes! At least she made choosing a Maid of Honor easy.
Best Man
From our long hair days (we all had that phase, right?), to our time at BU, to me finally coming back to Boston, Jeff has always been there to tell me when I'm wrong. My first (read: best) teacher and also my original roommate, he definitely had a good chance of being the Best Man.
Bridesmaid
She lured me into friendship when she wrote a book in 3rd grade about monkeys. It went downhill from there and, eventually, we ended up digging through my mom's garden picking what we thought was ginger but ended up being the roots of her favorite flowers. *She can't remember the plot of the book but she is pretty sure the monkeys went on a long heroic journey.
Groomsman
Although Sarah may have been lured into a friendship with a book about monkeys, I definitely lured Matt into a friendship using video games and snacks - we probably spent 6 hours inside on a beautiful summer day in 2005 playing Star Wars Battlefront. The games, years, and distance might change, but some things never do. *He might forget "Basilica Guards," but I won't.
Bridesmaid
Even though it took four years for us to actually talk to each other, I am glad we ignored all of our friend's advice to not room together Freshman year of college. Best decision I ever made! (Other than saying yes to Jason of course) *She didn't get a Quincenera invite but I think I made it up to her with the wedding.
Groomsman
Brian and I became friends in 2001 or 2002. I think it started over the Reese's Ice Cream my mom had in the freezer. Fast forward to 2012 and we end up going to college together! Luckily our friendship didn't change when we chose to be roommates Sophomore year.
