Although we hold a special place in our hearts for little ones, due to venue capacity we've elected to limit our ceremony and reception to adults only.
We kindly request that unless you had a plus-one indicated on your invitation, you bring just yourself to our event. We've intentionally ensured that everyone on our guest list will have friends and community present to celebrate with!
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride- white, ivories and creams.
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting semi-formal attire. Suits, gowns and cocktail attire are welcome and appreciated, but we want you to be most importantly comfortable! Our main goal is to create a day where we are surrounded by a joyous celebration, and if dressing in semi-formal attire is inhabiting your opportunity to partake in that with us, please feel free to wear whatever best suits you :)
Relatively but not quite! Our ceremony will be held in a public area next to a waterfall above Cedar Mill Creek, directly connected to the main parking lot of Cedar Mill Bible Church. There will be signs and trails leading you to the ceremony. We also recommend parking in the main parking lot next to a historical house, the John Quincy Adams Young House. Please note that the ceremony will be held outdoors in the Pacific Northwest in January, so please dress accordingly! The reception to follow will be indoors :) The reception will follow at Cedar Mill Bible Church, details on specific location TBA. Please check back in around the end of the year and into the new year for updates!
Yes! The church is blessing us with overhead tent canopies to keep us dry in the event of rainy weather. The ceremony location has bench seating, and additional seating will also be provided by the church. Please note again that we will be having the ceremony outdoors in January, so we recommend dressing accordingly :)
