Put your name down for a table and grab a drink across the street at Bar Pisellino or Suprema Provisions. Pastis A tried and true New York institution. It wouldn't be NYC without Pastis. Don't miss the steak frites. Il Buco Some of the best Italian in the city. Cozy, romantic, could be in Italy vibes. Da Toscano Fairly new to the NYC food scene and we've already been here multiple times. It's all amazing. Pair this with a night at the Comedy Cellar which is right around the corner. Nom Wah Tea Parlor The oldest tea house in China Town and our favorite Dim Sum. There is usually a 20-30 minute wait for a table here. We highly recommend exploring the neighborhood. It's one of the most unique neighborhoods in the city. Cash Only Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao If you can't make it down to China Town this trip, Nan Xiag Xiao Long Bao is equally as good and right in Midtown. Don't miss the soup dumplings. Piccola Cucina Uptown Our neighborhood pasta spot that looks and tastes like Italy. Tell Erica that we sent you! John's of Bleecker Street Alex's Favorite NYC Pizza. L'Industrie Pizza Fran's favorite NYC Pizza. If you have to go to Brooklyn, go for this. Fini If you're already in Brooklyn, you might as well do a pizza tour. Grab a white lemon slice after trying L'Industrie. Lil' Frankie's Casual Italian spot that is always solid with great Neapolitan pizza. Cash Only. Momoya SoHo One of our favorite date-night spots with great sushi and sake drinks. NR Our favorite ramen and cocktails. Up Thai Tastes & looks like Thailand Katz's You haven't been to New York if you haven't had pastrami on rye from Katz's. Don't skip the square knish. Cash only. The bar at Suprema Provisions Our favorite spot for a drink while we wait for a table in the West Village. Bar Pisellino Italian style aperitivo bar. Bar Sixty Five Located at the top of the Rock. This bar is iconic and a great place for NYC views. Sofia Wine Bar Tiny, cozy, lots of wine. The perfect place for wine on a chilly day City Vineyard Tons of outdoor seating with views of the Hudson River. The perfect place for wine on a sunny day. Bar Central A great place for cocktails before or after a show. It's hidden in a townhouse and lots of performers end their night here. This area is filled with mediocre places but this one is worth it. Treadwell Park Uptown Casual bar with beers, ping pong, and the BEST pretzel. The Crown Alex's favorite rooftop bar. Go at night for the best views.
Comedy Cellar The best comedy club in NYC. You never know who will show up. Central Park Our favorite place to unwind in the city. Some of our favorite spots are the Bethesda Terrace, Wollman Rink, The Mall, picnicking in Sheep's Meadow, and the Central Park Zoo. Arthur Avenue Tour The real little Italy is actually in the Bronx along a street called Arthur Avenue. You can plan food tours here but these are our favorite spots. Stop at Joe's Deli on 187th Street for Bocconcini then to Casa Della Mozzarella for the same and vote on your favorite. There's only one right answer. Next to Cosenza's for freshly shucked clams and oysters curbside, Dominick's for a sit down lunch (must order the antipasto salad, baked clams, seafood pasta, and veal francese), and end at Madonia Bakery with a tri color cookie or cannoli. Do not do this on our wedding day. You won't make it. Bryant Park Winter Village Our favorite Christmas shops in NYC luckily open the week before our wedding. Walk the Highline Walk from Hudson Yards to Meatpacking on an elevated park created from the old New York Central Railroad.
