FAQs

Question

How do I RSVP and what is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

With your invitation, there is a link that will take you to our RSVP page. The deadline to RSVP is October 12th. The base requires us to provide a list of all guests 2 weeks prior to the wedding, so it is crucial to RSVP by October 12.

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Although we love being surrounded by the little ones, this will be a mostly-adult event. We are inviting some very close family and friends' older children, but a very small number.

Question

What should I wear and what will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Our event will be semi-formal, we will love to see our guests in long gowns, cocktail dresses, and suits with either ties or bow-ties. Our event takes place right after Veteran's day, so any military guests are welcome to wear their corresponding military attire if they so wish. Our wedding ceremony will be outdoors, and although it does not get very cold in San Diego, it might be a little chilly in the morning. We encourage light outer wear and sunglasses to protect your eyes from the elements. The reception is indoors, so you can leave any layers at your seat for some dancing!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate the number of guests listed on the invitation. If you have any other questions, please reach out!

Question

What is the process for getting on the base for the wedding?

Answer

We will provide the base guards with our guest list. Please be sure to RSVP by October 12 and bring a government issued ID with you. The guard will verify you are a permitted guest as you show your ID and they check our guest list.

Question

I am at the gate for the wedding! What do I do now?

Answer

Present your identification (Driver's license or passport) of all car occupants to the base security guard. They will check the list and let you on base. Please make sure only guests who have RSVP'd to the wedding are entering the base.

Question

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding party will be taking pictures immediately after the ceremony, and our guests will be shown to the cocktail/reception space right next to the ceremony site.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

We have our registry entirely on this wedding website! We thank you wholeheartedly in advance :)

Question

What COVID-19 safety measures will be taken during your event?

Answer

We will be following San Diego County's and Point Loma Annex Base's regulations for our event. Masks are no longer required so come ready to be sharing your smiles all day! If anything changes, we will notify all guests. Any questions or concerns, please let us know!

For all the days along the way
