The first time they meet each other was at church. Our story started with a Facebook message. Alex just started to go to church when he met Karla. Later that week Karla messaged Alex on Facebook asking for his number. That conversation would lead to them setting up ovvoo accounts and skype accounts just to communicate with each other. As time passed Karla confronted Alex one day in the rain asking him to see where the relationship was going. He confessed that he liked her a lot and that he wanted to start a relationship with her. She friend zoned him to establish a firm friendship with Alex. Alex eventually took karla to one of his college dances. And then He asked her out to her own prom. That would be the spiral that would start the dating journey for them both.

Alex and Karla knew they wanted to be together. For 3 years Alex pursued Karla until she finally gave in! On January 2nd, 2016 Alex took Karla on a surprise date to one of her favorite parks. Rocket-ship Park was oversee the city of Torrance (The city where they first met) As soon as the sun started to set, Alex was waiting for the sun to set then he realized the sun set was on the other side of the cliff. Alex not holding back, he asked Karla to be his girlfriend. Overwhelmed with joy Karla said YES. The wait was so worth it. It was also worth the first kiss... the rest is history.
