We’re getting married!

Lee and Jake's journey began in October of 2020, when a swipe right on Hinge led them to their first date at Magpies on St. Charles Main Street. What started as a simple meeting over dinner quickly blossomed into something much more special. In March 2022, after months of laughter, adventures, and growing together, they took the next step and bought a house — a place to make memories with their golden retriever, Oshie, who has brought even more joy to their lives. On November 4, 2023, Jake made Lee’s dreams come true with a surprise proposal at the stunning Missouri Botanical Gardens. Surrounded by nature’s beauty, Jake asked Lee to spend forever by his side — and, of course, she said yes! Together, Lee and Jake share a deep passion for exploring the world. Whether it's traveling to new destinations, discovering hidden gems at local restaurants, or indulging in their love of craft beer, they are always seeking out the next adventure. They are thrilled to continue building a life filled with love, laughter, and a shared excitement for life, and they can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with their closest family and friends!
