Forever & Always

"One day you will find someone that chooses you and continues to choose you everyday and that's when you will be thankful that everything happened the way it did." Rodney and D.Marie were introduced by a mutual friend of a friend after a night of clarity in 2018, that just happened to be New Year's Day. Since this year was all about personal growth for the both of us;I had to be a woman of my word and step outside of my comfort zone. That night I received a new follow request on Instagram and quickly matched the name with the face, so after snooping around a bit and admitting that I liked what I saw; I accepted. A few (well more than a few) notifications from Rodney letting me know he liked what he saw as well, he "slid in my DM!" We talked for a few days that way and I finally gave him my number; our first phone conversation lasted well over 6 hours when he told me to be ready by 1pm for a date he had planned (that was something new to me, but I accepted.) He was easily one of the most chivalrous men I had ever come across, he got out and opened the door, complimented my appearance, handed me my favorite flowers, had my favorite song playing (another sign that he was learning and earning his way into my life). That same day, we went on 2 other dates where I met the homies and the rest is history. Rodney and D.Marie have eagerly chosen each other and are excited to be building a life together...now, tomorrow and forever.
