Out of town guests have many airport options. For those who want to spend some time in New York City, they may fly into any major NYC airport (LaGuardia, JFK, Newark). From there, guests can take the Metro-North Railroad (see our travel page) to get from New York City to our hotel/venue in Westchester (about an hour commute). Those who want to fly straight to Westchester may consider White Plains Airport, which is located about a 15 minute drive from the Sonesta Hotel. (We are working with the hotel to arrange a shuttle service from White Plains Airport – more details to come!)
The ceremony will begin at 5:30PM sharp. Guests are encouraged to arrive by 5PM and enjoy a glass of champagne upon arrival.
The dress code is semi-formal attire. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Basically, come looking polished. It's a wedding!
If kids are on the invite you received, then yes. Otherwise, enjoy a night out without 'em!
Yes, there is parking at The Briarcliff Manor. (Note: it is self-parking)

Shuttle on Saturday for Welcome Dinner: 5:30pm Shuttles on Sunday to Wedding: Please sign up for times during hotel check-in Shuttles on Sunday back to Hotel: 10:30pm onwards
Guests will order their dinner right when they sit down — no need to decide months ahead of time if you want chicken or fish! Vegetarian options will also be available.
The welcome dinner on Sat, Aug 27 is for out-of-town guests, family, and the wedding party. The option to RSVP, for those invited, is included in the RSVP portal of our website. The brunch on Mon, Aug 29 is for anyone staying at the Sonesta! We included the option to RSVP in the portal for out-of-town guests, family and friends who we *assume* are booking a hotel room on Sunday night -- so if you book a room or see the option to RSVP, please join us at brunch!
The dress code is between Cocktail Attire and Garden Party attire. Basically, what would you wear to a nice dinner with family in the summer? Wear that! You'll look great! To see the general vibe of Harper's on Main, check out their website: https://www.harpersonmain.com/. We'll have the full indoor restaurant & outdoor garden to ourselves.
Unless you have had COVID within the past 30 days, we are asking ALL guests to please take a rapid test within 24 hours of attending or travel. Everyone's health is very important and we are committed to providing the safest possible celebration. The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside (weather permitting) and the welcome dinner has an outdoor garden. The wedding reception, after-party and brunch are indoors, but there is plenty of outdoor space to step away or mingle. All invited guests have been vaccinated. Masks are not required but any guest is welcome to wear a mask, of course.
