The handfasting ceremony begins at 4:30 pm EST
Preferably not white? Dress to be comfortable and have a good time! Our ceremony will be outdoors on a grassy area overlooking the water, our cocktail hour will be on a driving range and the reception will be in the ballroom. There is no dress code.
We use a tent!
We have 3 hotel blocks: NYLO Providence, Homewood Suites Providence and Hilton Garden Inn Warwick. If you prefer to make your own accommodations, there are plenty of options in the Warwick/Providence area that would be suitable and close. Please be aware that it is a long weekend.
Music, food, good energy, dancing, smores and shennanigans
We are so grateful for any gift we receive. We have put together two registries, one attached to Zola (this site) and the other is through HoneyFund (https://www.honeyfund.com/site/foley-scanlan-10-06-2023) and will do what the title implies and fund our Honeymoon!
TBD-We will provide the options after our tasting on July 20th
Handfasting (also spelled “hand-fasting”) is a unity tradition that takes place during a wedding ceremony. The wedding officiant will wrap cords or ropes around the couple’s joint hands, tying them together, to represent their union. It’s a symbolic representation of binding two people together in marriage – and a way for couples to literally tie the knot!
