Sebastian Maniscalco was the first (of many!) comedy specials that we watched together. Coincidentally, he will be in town doing shows at the Borgata's Music Box Comedy Club in Atlantic City for the whole week of our wedding. If you get to see him, we want to hear all about it!
Exhale Spa + Bathhouse is located inside of Ocean. If you decide to book a treatment, don't be surprised if you run into Caitlin, who already has a few visits booked herself.
Chef Vola's has been a pit stop for shoobies, locals, and celebrities alike who have visited Atlantic City over the years, from Kevin James to Frank Sinatra to Beyonce, (to Caitlin and her bridesmaid Kathryn, on the occasional girls weekend). It is infamously tough to get a reservation - You'll have to leave a voicemail, or several, and hope for a call back. The food and service is phenomenal. It's a cozy BYOB and cash only, so grab some wine and hit the ATM before you go.
For all you golfers, there are several great public courses in the area. Ballamor Golf Club is owned by the same group who manages Atlantic City Country Club. Don't be surprised if you see Ryan and his groomsmen squeezing in a round!
The VUE is a rooftop bar at the Clairidge Hotel. The Hotel itself will make you feel like you stepped into the Great Gatsby, and the restaurant/bar on the top floor has ocean views and great happy hour specials.
Steve & Cookies is a classic Margate City dinner destination if you're looking to explore the other (quieter) beach towns in the area. The ambiance is fantastic and the food is great, especially if you like seafood!
