We're Getting Married!

Michelle and Brian have a debate on who started working at MVP Health Care first, but they know it was within a few weeks. At first, Brian only worked as a Security Guard on Fridays while Michelle worked in HR full-time. For a while, they just shared occasional glances in the lobby, but before long, conversations started blossoming. Michelle usually offered to refill Brian's coffee, bring him snacks, or bring him leftovers from one of the events she catered for her department. In return, Brian always offered a hand in carrying heavy items around the building or to her car. These light conversations gradually turned into lunches together, and Brian picked up a few more shifts here and there. He worked on business for Foley Security Solutions during his lunch breaks, and Michelle often helped with editing and formatting while getting to know him. Eventually, Brian's business picked up enough to be able to leave his post at MVP, and he took Michelle on their first date shortly before his last shift.

The first weekend trip Brian and Michelle took together was a combined Boston and beach trip. It was a exciting and relaxing time together - sightseeing in Boston, MA for a day, then relaxing by the beach in Hampton Beach, NH. This trip became part of their story the moment they left their house. They determined to make this trip a yearly event. When it came to their September 2022 trip, they booked two nights in Boston before they headed to Hampton Beach. The Yankees were scheduled to play the Red Sox in Boston and they made it a point to schedule the trip around that game. Earlier that day, they went on a Historic Walking Tour of Boston, lead by a local history buff. It was an interesting and walkable tour around some of the historic landmarks in downtown Boston. At the end of the tour, Brian and Michelle sat down on some nearby stairs to plan out what they'd do with the time they had before the baseball game. As if it were scripted, the plaza completely emptied of the lingering tour crowd. Completely alone in the plaza, Brian simply got down on one knee on the stairs below Michelle and asked her the magic question. Knowing her so well, Brian put a note in the ring box inviting Michelle to go ring shopping. Riding high on the excitement of their engagement, they attended the game in the evening and were thrilled when, on their special day, the Yankees beat the Red Sox in Fenway Park.
