Dave and Cindy met when Cindy started working at the prison in 2003 that Dave had worked at since 1894...sorry, 1994. He noticed her when she came in for her interview. After Cindy started working at the prison, they would talk politely during their shift. They ran into each other away from work once, and Cindy's interest was piqued. They danced a few songs, and then Dave disappeared (like Cinderella, but without the glass slipper or pumpkin carriage...or the ballgowns....or the fairy godmother...or mean step-sisters....... no singing mice). When returning to work, Cindy asked Dave when he would cook dinner for her, and he responded, "How's Thursday?" Dave cooked dinner for her at his home, but while giving her a tour of the house, he burned the steaks! Good thing he had extras. Cindy was impressed with his amazing cooking ability (and backup plan) and couldn't stay away. The rest, as they say, is a long 15 year history that is finally culminating in this marriage.
