This is one of Fiona's favorite places to visit since she was a child. You are able to get a train from Cork Train Station which will take you to the gates of Fota Wildlife park. The train stations is 7mins drive from the hotel. There is a number of different cafes and restaurants throughout the park. Wear comfortable shoes.
The town of Cobh is the heart of Great Island; a small island that captures the history, craic, experiences, music, poetry and feeling of all of Ireland. Cobh is such a great place to visit for the day. There is some much to do like: Visit St Coleman's Cathedral, Titanic museum, Picnic at the Promenade, boat ride around the harbour.

Blarney Castle & Gardens is a most while in Ireland. You are able to walk to the top of the castle where you will be helped to kiss the Blarney stone. The gardens are also gorgeous to walk around. There is a cafe on the grounds so you are able to have lunch and conintue to explore. Another options for lunch while in Blarney is a 3 mins walk from the castle is at the Blarney Woollen Mills. At the Woolen mills you can also get your Irish souvenirs, Aran Sweaters, Irish Crystal.
