We went here almost every saturday when we lived in homeland. Great produce and vibes! Definitely get food from Blacksauce Kitchen food truck. Worth the wait!

Saturdays
Canton - Cult-favorite bakeshop. One of our favorite places to go on the weekend. Be prepared to wait on a long line starting at 8:40am. Worth it! Take your coffee and pastries down to canton waterfront park. Take a nice walk along the waterfront!
Canton - Good Chinese food.
Brewer's Hill - Pricey but beautiful.
Riverside - Great pizza!
Locust Point - Pretty walk along the harbor that can be accessed for free separate from the museum itself.

Locust Point - If you're in Baltimore during crab season, you've gotta get crabs coated in old bay, dipped in melted butter, and cracked with a mallet! Ask Mr. Sartori for proper crab-cracking technique.
Gaithersburg - MUST make a reservation in advance unless a student/military/veteran/educator. Amazing landscape, sculpture garden, and art galleries. Hour away.
Potomac - Awesome hike/walk Anthony and Fiona have been on many times. If there, may want to check out Fish Taco for lunch!
Wheaton - Nice place to take a walk and take in nature. Fiona went here many times growing up. If there, you may want to grab a bite to eat in Takoma Park (Fiona's home town!)
D.C. National Museum of African American History and Culture - Must see! National Museum of the American Indian Natural History Museum Air and Space Museum African Art Museum Hirshorn National Gallery of Art (Fiona's mom, Renee, is a copyist here!) Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Lincoln Memorial WWII Memorial Korean War Memorial All within an hour!
D.C. - Great place to walk around and have a picnic.
