Question

COVID-19 Concerns

It is our expectation that by now everyone attending the wedding has been vaccinated and boosted. If you are not feeling well the days leading up to the wedding we ask that you test. If you have any concerns on this matter feel free to reach out to us directly to discuss further!

Question

What is the best way to get to the Vineyard?

Answer

That depends on where you are coming from! The options are: drive to Woods Hole in Falmouth, MA and take the Steamship Authority Ferry, or fly directly to Martha's Vineyard. You can also fly into Boston Logan Airport and take a bus or Uber to Woods Hole but we recommend one of the first two options for time and convenience. See the FAQs below and "Travel" page for more specific details.

Question

Do you need a car on the island?

Answer

Martha's Vineyard is spread out. You will need a car to get from one town to another. If you don't plan to bring a car, no worries! There is a taxi service: Your Taxi (508) 693-0003

Question

Do I need to purchase a ferry ticket in advance

Answer

Yes, it is best to purchase your ferry tickets in advance. Especially if you are bringing your car on the ferry. Please check out the "TRAVEL" section for more information on how to purchase.

Question

How do I get from the airport and/or ferry to my hotel if I don't bring my car?

Question

What does formal-ish attire mean?

Answer

Formal-ish attire means the wedding is formal (NOT black tie). The "ish" means make it your own and have fun with your look. But only if you want! For example: - Men: Consider pairing sneakers with your suit (the groom will be!) or if you want to wear a tux...do you! - Women: Dare I say a jumpsuit?!

Question

Will transportation be provided to the Wedding on Saturday, October 29th

Answer

Yes! We will have bus transportation to and from the wedding. Please aim to be ready for pick up around 3:45pm in Edgartown. We will follow up with pick up timing and location.

Question

Can I drive to the wedding if I dont want to take the provided transportation?

Answer

Yes of course! There is plenty of parking at the venue. Please be sure to give yourself enough time to get there. The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30pm

Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Only the ceremony will be outside (weather permitting). The rest of the evenings festivities will take place indoors (with ventilation). Hopefully we get a beautiful fall day but always good to bring a jacket! And ladies, please keep that in mind when deciding on what heels to wear!

Question

How long is the wedding?

Answer

Below is a breakdown on timing: - 4:30pm Ceremony - 5:00pm Cocktails - 6:00pm Dinner & Dancing - 10:00pm Departures

Answer

Question

Is there an after party? And do I have to attend?

Answer

Yes! There will be a very informal after party back in Edgartown (location TBC). You are not required to attend. This is only for those who want to keep the night going!

Question

Do I have to attend the Farewell Brunch?

Answer

Nope! This is totally up to you. The Farewell Brunch is very informal and really just way to say goodbye, hang for a little, grab some coffee and a bite to eat before you catch your ferry.
