Becca is the mom of Laura's favorite tiny humans, reader of daily (sometimes hourly) weird texts from Laura, and has been a cheerleader for Laura and Derek since day one,
Matt Bremmer
Best Man
Matt is Derek's older brother. Matt recently moved back to Pittsburgh after spending time in a few other US cities. Derek and Laura were lucky enough to visit Matt a few times and are excited to have him permanently close-by and in the wedding.
Courtney Gibson
Matron of Honor
Courtney is Laura's oldest friend--they go all the way back to German 1 at Jefferson Middle School. Courtney is a true friend through thick and thin. From shenanigans in Frau Danielson's class, to pizza and champagne nights, and all the craziness in between, their friendship holds some special memories.
Andrew Puckett
Best Man
Andrew is Derek's best friend. They have known each other since about 4th grade, and have been there for each other through some special moments.
Marissa Trevino
Bridesmaid
Marissa was Laura's roommate through all three years of law school. They have so many amazing memories together in NOLA and beyond. Laura is excited to have Marissa as a bridesmaid because of her unwavering support and constant willingness to have a good time. You'll find these two together on the dance floor when "Beauty and a Beat" comes on (maybe on repeat?!?).
Justin Mohr
Groomsman
Justin and Derek met in South Carolina, and have remained great friends ever since. Derek is excited to have Justin stand up with him, especially after having the chance to stand up with Justin at his own wedding.
Rachel Recchia
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Laura met through private saxophone lessons, and most of their time together in high school was spent making inappropriate saxophone-themed jokes at each other's expense. In college, Laura and Rachel were in the same sorority, where the jokes wrote themselves. Laura was honored to stand up with Rachel at her wedding, and is secretly hoping Rachel brings her saxophone to perform at the wedding as a surprise wedding gift.
Brandon Bryan
Groomsman
Brandon and Derek met when he moved to Mercersburg, PA. The two were close all through grade school and have been lucky enough to both live in Pittsburgh for the past several years. Brandon has always been a great source of support and Derek is happy to have him as a groomsman,
Beth Elliott
Bridesmaid
Beth and Laura originally met during park district softball in 2000, but became close in high school and lived together for a couple years in college. Beth is always down to have a great time and is an incredibly loyal friend. Whether it's bonding over a trashy reality show, comparing their lists of top seltzer flavors, or being able to hang out in person and have a good time, Laura cherishes Beth's friendship, especially considering they've lived in different cities for over 10 years now! You'll find B out on the dancefloor for probably the entire reception.

Eric and Derek met at Duquesne during both of their freshmen years. They lived through some wild times while studying abroad together in Rome, and have continued to make fun memories together ever since.
Aaron Hernandez
Bridesman
Aaron and Laura met in 2013 when both started internships at the NCAA in Indianapolis. A year later, Laura returned for another year-long internship while Aaron had been hired full-time. During that year in Indy, Laura and Aaron became incredibly close and made so many fun memories. Despite living states away from one another over the past few years, their friendship has strengthened and Laura always looks forward to spending time with Aaron (usually at work conferences). From pedal pubs to booze cruises and eating way too much at work dinners, Laura is so excited to have Aaron with her on the wedding day and to create new memories that they can laugh about years down the road.
Jackson Martin

Jackson and Laura met through work around the same time that Laura and Derek started dating. Jackson was there during the early days of Laura & Derek, and has some great stories to share (even if they are heavily embellished). We're thrilled to have Jackson play such a huge part in our special day.
James Slowik
Ring Bearer
James is Laura and Derek's nephew (Rebecca’s son). James is an experienced ring-bearer, a great dancer, and Laura and Derek are so happy to have him in the wedding.
Priya Schneider
Flower Girl
Priya is Derek and Laura's niece (Jen's [Derek's sister] daughter). Priya is enthusiastic and the life of the party, and we are so excited that she will help us make our wedding day beautiful!
