Roxborough State Park

The Fountain Valley Trail is a beginner friendly, 2.2 mile stroll that weaves through towering red rock formations. Be sure to stop at Lyon's Overlook, where Kyle popped the question!

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

Visit this iconic outdoor amphitheater surrounded by stunning red rock formations. You can also hike the trails in the area for panoramic views of the city and the Rockies.

The Grateful Gnome Sandwich Shoppe & Brewery

4369 Stuart Street, Denver, CO 80212

The Grateful Gnome is a brewery & sandwich shop in Denver. There are a lot of WVU decorations, and it is the official bar to watch WVU games.

River North Art District

Gaby and Kyle like to go to downtown Boulder to wander along the Pearl Street Mall (pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants). Our favorite Italian restaurant (Il Pastaio) and our favorite breweries (Upslope Brewing, Avery Brewing, and more) are here as well!

Garden of the Gods

Approximately 1 hour south of Denver, Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs is a must-see for out-of-state visitors. It's a stunning natural park with towering red rock formations and plenty of hiking trails, making it a great place to explore and take memorable photos. Plus, it's free!

About 1.5 - 2 hours from Denver, the park's majestic peaks, pristine alpine lakes, and diverse wildlife offer a stunning backdrop for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. With a network of scenic drives, hiking trails, and opportunities for wildlife viewing, it's an unforgettable destination where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the Colorado Rockies. A popular entrance point into RMNP is through the town of Estes Park.
