We’re Eloping!

After dating for 4 years, Josh proposed at our Halloween party (one of my several most favorite holidays-shout out Christmas & 4th of July) in the foyer of our first home together, surrounded by our best friends. It was a moment I couldn’t have dreamt up to be any more perfect & such an incredible memory we’ll look back on the rest of our lives. After taking some time to enjoy being engaged, (they say time flies, so enjoying every moment of this process was important to me) we decided to start planning.....& then Covid hit. So it's safe to say we've gotten plenty of time to enjoy being fiancés, have made it through quarantine together & are ready to officially be husband & wife!

Planning a wedding during a pandemic has been an adventure (to say the least) & a little unconventional for all of us future brides & grooms — thank goodness we’ve never been the conventional type! While we always planned to have an intimate wedding, the circumstances of 2020 has unfortunately forced our hand & turned our big day into a complete elopement. Our location has changed 3 times; from Greece (still hoping to take an anniversary trip soon) to Glacier National Park (again, hoping for an anniversary trip) & finally landing on The Keys! After the s%!t show 2020 was this year, to say we're excited for a tropical getaway is an understatement.

We will keep everyone updated on our itinerary & schedule for the week, just in case anyone needs a tropical get away too! We also plan to live stream our ceremony, technology willing. At very least, we will be posting our photos & video footage afterwards! Our long term hope is to spend this time with each other, & then celebrate a big anniversary with everyone we love so much in the next year or so! We CAN NOT WAIT for this season of life & are having so much fun in the process. We so look forward to everything to come & to celebrate with each & every one of our loved one!!
