Ben and Kristen first met in 2010 while working at Doctors Hospital. Immediate friendship sparked, followed by years of admiration and support for each other. After a season of traveling different paths, they reconnected in 2018. With the stars aligned, they have been near inseparable since.

When Ben showed up in our lives this time, it was different. You could see a new kind of excitement in Mom’s eyes. I could see a stronger connection between them that I hadn’t seen with anyone else before. Mom was more comfortable, confident and happy. Ben was kind, open and so funny... he just melded with everything and everyone in this family. From the way he makes her laugh, to their shared experiences in work and friendship, every sign points to perfect. The best part is, I never have to question my mother’s happiness when they’re together. There was an open place in her heart, and Ben has filled it better than I could have ever asked.

Through only three years mom and Ben have been through so much. As guarded as I was at first, Ben was always so kind hearted and generous. I could tell they had something special. Now I want nothing more than for them to be together. Mom is happier and Ben is her light. He is hers and she is his.
