We met on the first day of nurse residency and didn’t speak very much to each other at first. Over time we developed a connection while walking into work together from the parking lot. We would talk about everything from work to personal loves and interests we both had. Which eventually led to him asking me out after a busy night shift after the 4th of July. We went on our first date a few days later with my dog Balto accompanying us. And the rest is history.

I knew I wanted to try and surprise Morgan as much as possible while having her family there as well. I picked the 24th of July as the date and got a little help with planning from Morgan’s sister in law. We decided to have a nice dinner outside in downtown Chattanooga and then took a drive to Point Park to “see the sunset” where we met our photographer. We then climbed to the top of a rock and that’s where I asked her to marry me. We were both excited and had a few emotional moments afterwards. See you in Gatlinburg,TN!
